I consider myself a lifelong learner. My thirst for truth and knowledge is akin to a crying infant longing for its next bottle. I have been a teacher of sorts for many years-Sunday School, Youth Fellowship, School Mentor/Volunteer, Camp Counselor, Youth Activities Supervisor, Parole Officer, Parole Administrator, Wellness Trainer and Substitute Teacher. For the past three years, I have been a Special Education Teacher. My quest is to infuse all learners with an understanding of the importance of enlightenment.

I selected as my URL-yearn2learnthe learning teacher. It is in conjunction with the blog title, efranklinthelearningteacher. If one possesses the desire to learn, she/he is open and available to be taught. The teacher would not encounter any obstacles to hinder instruction. In this mode, the teacher is able to affect the learner. If the learner responds positively, the learner affects the teacher. The Rite of Reciprocity. This intangible entity shall be indelibly etched in a learner's psyche.

My challenge is to discover via learning styles each learners' passion. Once determined, it is paramount for me to teach to that learning style(s). When acheived, the result is a well-rounded learner equipped with what is able to sustain them for a lifetime.
